What the module gives you
Modovisa for PrestaShop is a storefront module that injects the lightweight tracker on every public page. You keep the token in module settings instead of hard-coding it into a theme, so a theme update does not wipe tracking.

Installing the module
Download the Modovisa Analytics ZIP (inner folder must be modovisa/), then in PrestaShop go to Modules → Module Manager → Upload a module. Select the ZIP, wait for the install, click Configure, enable the module and paste the Tracking token from your Modovisa dashboard. Load the storefront and confirm you appear in the live view.
Carts, checkouts and orders
The module is built for ecommerce, not just page views. Product, cart and checkout pages show up in journeys like any other URL, and a completed order can carry the printed order number so the Store view can match the named sale. That is the difference between a traffic chart and a store you can actually run.
Cache and performance
PrestaShop's own cache and any CDN in front of the shop can serve a page that no longer includes a freshly installed module. If visits do not appear after install, clear Advanced Parameters → Performance and the CDN cache, then reload a public page. The tracker itself is a single small async script and does not block rendering.
Privacy and visitor data
Modovisa is first-party analytics: your PrestaShop store reports to your own workspace, not an ad network. Retention is 30 days on Free and unlimited on paid plans, a Data Processing Agreement is published for procurement, and disabling the module or deactivating tracking stops collection immediately.
Frequently asked questions
Do I have to edit the theme?
No. The module injects the script from module settings. Theme edits are only needed if you skip the module and paste the snippet by hand.
Which PrestaShop versions are supported?
The module lists PrestaShop 1.7.8 through 9. If a very old release cannot load it, use the manual snippet from the install guide instead.
Is session replay on the Free plan?
Session replay is included on every paid plan and throughout the 21-day trial. After the trial the Free plan keeps live tracking and journeys, without replay, until you upgrade. Paid plans start at $14.99 a month.
Will PrestaShop cache hide the script?
Page cache is fine once the module is enabled. After you first install or update it, clear PrestaShop's cache and any CDN so the storefront HTML includes the new script tag.
