Reduce cart abandonment on-site
Show a discount banner before shoppers leave — a store code you already have, on the product or cart. On-site only — Modovisa does not email the shopper or create the code.
Where this lives
Open Store and scroll to Cart nudge, next to live baskets. One offer per site. It needs Store full access: Growth, the account trial, free-forever, or an active Store trial. The tracking script you already installed draws the banner.
Show on shop and Hide now
Show on shop turns the banner on for visitors. Hide now removes it immediately and keeps your settings — it does not expire the discount in your store. Flipping either switch also saves the form.
Shown, Held back, Code copied
Shown is times the banner appeared. Held back is holdback, a browser still in the quiet hours, or a basket under the minimum. Code copied is taps on the copy button — not a sale.
Offer — the words and the code
Paste a discount that already works at checkout. Button label can include {code}. Default message is used unless you write a line for product, cart or checkout. Bold and Italic wrap selected words. Checkout here is theme checkout — Shopify hosted checkout cannot show the banner.
When it shows
Wait is 3–120 seconds on the page; desktop also shows when the pointer leaves the top of the window. At most once every N hours is the same browser. Holdback skips a slice so you can compare. Only if the basket is over hides small adds. Free shipping from prepends the gap, or {gap} places it. Live bag count adds “N people have this in their bag” only when two or more carts are live.
Look and Preview
Card sits in a corner; bar spans top or bottom. Hex colours only. Site font uses the shop typeface on the live site — the workspace preview cannot inherit it. Preview is a sample: change stage, sample basket and bags now before you save.
Save and if nothing appears
Save nudge, then hard-refresh the shop — the overlay file is cached. Test on a product or cart URL, not Shopify hosted checkout. A miss is usually the wait, cache, holdback, quiet hours, basket minimum, Hide now, or a page the theme embed cannot reach.
