Installing from the Joomla Extensions Directory
Get Modovisa Analytics from the Joomla Extensions Directory (extensions.joomla.org/extension/modovisa-analytics), install via Extensions → Manage → Install, enable System – Modovisa, paste your Tracking token from the Modovisa dashboard, and save. Load a public page and confirm you appear in the live view.
Joomla 4 and 5, without touching the template
The plugin targets Joomla 4.3+ and 5.x, loads in the document head (optional defer), and skips the administrator area automatically. You do not need to edit template overrides or chase a custom-code field after each theme change.

Frequently asked questions
Does it track the Joomla administrator?
No. The script is only loaded on the public front end, not in the Joomla administrator.
Which Joomla versions are supported?
Joomla 4.3+ and Joomla 5.x. If you are on an older release, use the manual snippet from the install guide instead.
Is session replay on the Free plan?
Session replay is included on every paid plan and throughout the 21-day trial. After the trial the Free plan keeps live tracking and journeys, without replay, until you upgrade. Paid plans start at $14.99 a month.
Can I use a caching or optimisation extension?
Yes for page caching. If an extension delays or combines JavaScript, exclude the Modovisa script so visits are not undercounted.
